The
Pack and Go Wizard is the best way to get your Publisher files to us correctly. It actually performs a preflight on your files! Here is what it does:
1. Embeds True Type Fonts
2. Converts any embedded graphics into linked graphics
3. Prints a composite proof and separation proofs (if the file is setup for separations)
To start the Pack and Go Wizard, point to
Pack and Go on the
File menu, then click on
Take to a Commercial Printing Service.
Next, follow these 3 Steps:
Select the location to save the files
Decide whether to include fonts and graphics
Print composite and separations
When Publisher packs the files, it names and numbers the files and adds a ".puz" extension.
The following files will be created:
1. Unpack.exe
2. Readme.txt
3. packed01.puz
4. packed01.pu1 (ignore this file)
That's it!
